The Double Eagle is an extremely durable, drought and heat resistant mix with an extreme natural dark green color due to our proprietary seed mix. This turf is great for most residential yards that experience high traffic and tough love from kids and pets. This turf can handle full sun and up to 60% shade (4 hours of direct sunlight throughout the day) and can maintain a lower mowing height. This turf is drought tolerant, and will take longer to go off color, from lack of water, than a turf without tall fescue.

The size of our sod pieces are 2 ft by 4.5 ft, 9 sqft total and weight about 25 lbs. per piece on average.
